A Walk Through A Medieval City
After a refreshing stay in a historical castle (peckforton), we decided to head on down to a small city rich in heritage a short drive away, Chester.
Along the way, barely a 10 mins drive away, we stopped by the ruins of Beeston Castle which has a 4,000 year heritage.
From it’s peak, you would be treated to views of the Pennines and even the Welsh mountains. Admission fees are £10.00 per adult, £6.00 per child and a variety of packages for families.
However, it was more of a touch and go for us as we decided to head on back down the road towards Chester.
But that was before we met a couple of friendly and curious faces at the car park.
